OPPO booth at Mobile World Congress Barcelona
Complete design proposal for the OPPO's participation in the MWC Barcelona. Mobile World Congress is the largest and most influential connectivity event for mobile technologies and the most important show of the year for OPPO. So the level of the project requirements was extremely high and the participation in this event was designed with a special attention to every detail
The main inspiration for the architectural shapes of the booth was the minimalist architecture of the modern museum and art spaces in Spain
There should be visible the links to the significant Barcelona's buildings
The main design principle is to keep clear white minimalist style and add the high  technological elements / digital interactive solutions
The design story started from creating the OPPO's MWC campaign, creating the Graphical and motion design style.
The main design feature was in creating the multi-layer structures that recreate the significant parts of the Barcelona city. This structure contains the screen demonstrating motion videos from the Barcelona's streets, buildings, squares and covered with a thin lamellas structures to create more architectonic objects. Such a mix of media and architecture was aimed to create a city atmosphere but in minimalist style of the OPPO brand. Such a feature-object were placed in every product group areas with a unique non-repeating content.
The booth space was clearly divided into the thematic areas providing unique communication stories for each of the specific product group
5G Connectivity and devices area was designed in a comic painted style simulating the living interior to demonstrate the possible cases of using 5G modems, routers and other devices.
OPPO Find X3 area with the idea of photo-shooting using the advanced Find X3 Cameras of the abstract wooden model of the Barcelona city with some moving elements like wooden cars or airplanes
Interior design style was focused on providing comfortable atmosphere in a minimalist European style
In addition to the architectural tasks, our design team proposed the communication graphics ideas, motion design ideas, the complete style of the OPPO's participation in MWC
Our design proposal also contains the ideas for Giveaways and the ways how to receive them, merchandising and closing style for the booth assistants
Among different digital interactive solutions we offered an idea of the brand-directed Challenge to happen in Barcelona city ahead of the MWC event dates. The challenge was based on the concept of Geocach but using specifically designed app and aiming to get the real giveaways.
